About

Roshi Kamdar is a curator, interior architect, designer, and cultural consultant whose work explores the intersection of art, architecture, design, and contemporary culture. Based in Lisbon and working internationally through her studio Roshi Co., she develops exhibitions, spatial environments, and cultural collaborations that connect artists, institutions, and brands.

Her projects often blur the boundaries between exhibition-making, design, and cultural programming, creating spaces where art and lived experience intersect.

She is the founder and curator of Cedrus Curated, an initiative that transforms workplaces into living cultural environments through curated exhibitions, art installations, and cultural programming that bring contemporary art into everyday spaces.

Kamdar’s multidisciplinary practice spans curatorial work, interior architecture, and cultural strategy. In 2019 she founded Roshi Gallery in London, an experimental “at-home gallery” concept presenting emerging artists and designers within a domestic setting, offering an intimate model for experiencing art and collectible design.

She has also worked extensively as a cultural consultant, developing partnerships between artists, institutions, and brands. She previously served as Art & Culture Ambassador to Value Retail, where she initiated cultural collaborations between luxury brands and leading art institutions and curated projects including Voices of East London, a program celebrating emerging artists and creative voices from London’s East End.

Over the past two decades her work has intersected with a range of cultural organizations and international brands including Sotheby’s Institute of Art, the Royal Academy of Arts, Tate, Soho House, and Four Seasons, creating projects that bring art and culture into new contexts and audiences.

Born in Tehran and raised in California, Kamdar has lived and worked internationally for more than two decades, including in London, Italy, Switzerland, and Portugal. Her multicultural background and global network inform a practice dedicated to building meaningful connections between artists, spaces, and communities.
